Vizions Consulting is looking for a Design Engineer to join the Telecommunications Structures and Site Construction department at our Mississauga office. You will execute projects related to the design and/or detailed review of telecommunications structures. 

 

Responsibilities

• Meet clients and establish network;

• Follow-up/meet clients to secure engineering/inspection work;

• Receive RFQ’s, estimate SOW and prepare proposals for Vizions Consulting Project Manager review;

• Monitor engineering/drafting progress to meet deliverable deadlines;

• Prepare documents required for calls for tenders;

• Carry out tower analysis on existing telecommunication towers;

• Provide reinforcing solutions for tower structures and foundations;

• From time to time, inspect/audit tower and roof-top installations;

• Write engineering reports;

• Monitor the quality of projects within an ISO 9001 environment.

 

Requirements

​

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;

• 5 to 10 years of work experience in the Telecom Engineering field;

• Member of Professional Engineers Of Ontario.
